Sika USA, which provides  sealing, bonding, damping, reinforcing and protecting solutions, says it is bringing its popular ‘365’ Event Series to the Chicago area: Thursday June 9 at Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center and Wednesday, May 25 at the Palmer House downtown.

Chicagoland 365 will explore the many ways in which the Chicago of tomorrow is shaped by the choices we make, every day, the company says in a news release.

The June 9 event will take place from 2:30 – 7:00 p.m. and feature two special guest speakers: NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Singletary will keynote, and Cliff Brewis, VP of Editorial Operations, Dodge Data and Analytics, will discuss the construction trends and economy in the Chicagoland area.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to share ideas, earn continuing education credits and see hands-on technology demos with  opportunities to earn multiple AIA and RCI continuing education credits..

The May 25 event will take place at Chicago’s historic Palmer House hotel, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and will focus exclusively on architectural and construction trends. An educational session will look at “Design Considerations for the Modern Building Envelope” and those who attend will earn one AIA or RCI continuing education credit
hour.

Both events will conclude with a cocktail hour, featuring an open bar, where attendees can share insights and ideas, and network with their peers.

“Our inaugural 365 event in Dallas/Fort Worth was a huge success and we wanted to bring the same unique experience to Chicago,” said Jay Thomas, Sika’s vice-president marketing, roofing and flooring. “The Chicago market is growing rapidly and SIKA is proud to have been integral to some of Chicago’s most remarkable and iconic projects, so it seemed like the perfect fit.”
