It’s hardly an exciting or dramatic project, but the $10 million building permit to turn a block of industrial land into a 156,000 sq. ft. warehouse will certainly make better use of the land and create work for several construction trades.
The permit to develop 2420 S. Wood was issued on Sept. 30 to owner Craig Dannegger.
Project architect Grant Brandenburg works as studio manager, commercial architecture, at Ware Malcomb, and the general contractor is Summit Design and Build, LLC.
Other trades listed on the building permit include: Electrical, American Electric Construction (Schaumburg); masonry, MJTJ Contractors and Builder (Norridge); plumbing, MVP Plumbing Corp. (Yorkville); and ventilation, Sun Ray Heating, Inc. (Matteson).
