The Columbia College Student Center at 754 S. Wabash in the South Loop has reached the full building permit stage.
The $45 million permit for the five-story structure and interior buildout follows an earlier $1.6 million foundation/caisson permit issued on Feb. 16. Gensler is the designer.
Pepper Construction Company is the general contractor. Subtrades include: Electrical – Rex Elect. & Technologies LLC.; plumbing – Chas F. Bruckner & Son, Inc.; refrigeration and ventilation – Hill Mechanical Group.
