Chicago has issued a $20,786,692 building permit to construct a 633,057 sq. ft. one-story warehouse at the Marina Railport, 2075 W. 43rd St. The permit follows a foundation-only permit issued on Feb. 23 for $3,287,276.
The Marina Crossings project, described as the city’s largest industrial warehouse, is on 35 acres of land. The Real Deal reports that Marina Cartage, a Chicago-based trucking company, purchased the site in 2015. The permit says the owner is Marina Crossings Owner LLC.
FCL Builders LLC is the general contractor. Cushman & Wakefield has issued a leasing brochure describing the site.
Subtrades include: Electrical – ABCO Electrical Construction & Design; masonry – M-JTJ Contractors & Builders and Richard & Weyer Const. Co.; plumbing – Cecchin Plumbing; and refrigeration and ventilation – Sun Mechanical Systems, Inc.
