The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) has scheduled its sixth annual Structures Symposium on Oct. 26.
The event “provides a forum for engineers to share analysis, design, and construction information from recent projects with unique and/or distinguishing characteristics,” SEAOI says in an announcement. “Attendance typically represents a diverse cross-section of all aspects of the profession, including: design, construction management, material suppliers, academia, general contracting, and owners’ representatives.”
Adam Reed Tucker, who develops educational programs to “bring a greater understanding and appreciation in the area of architecture, engineering, art, science and design” will be the keynote speaker, and there will be 13 other presentations during the day-long event.
For more information and registration, see the SEAOI website.
