PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC (www.pdbgroup.com), based in the Chicago area, has completed construction of two speculative warehouses in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC was selected by Bridge Development Partners, LLC to manage the design and construction of the new industrial complex, Bridge Point Port 95. The complex consists of two new speculative warehouses adjacent to Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The 16-acre parcel offers 229,600 sq. ft. of institutional grade warehouse space between the two buildings: Building A spanning 95,680 sq. ft, Building B at 133,650 sq. ft. “Designed to accommodate distributors, manufacturers and freight forwarders, Bridge Point Port 95 is well positioned in a highly sought-after location for end users with close proximity to the airport and Port Everglades, with immediate access to I-95, I-595 and the Turnpike,” the company says in an announcement.
Both 32’ clear height buildings feature tilt-wall concrete, structural steel and anodized storefront glass shells, and Class A amenities for modern-day tenants.
A new contiguous asphalt parking lot hosts 11 handicap and 293 standard parking stalls. An ESFR fire protection sprinkler system is installed throughout. Exfiltration trenches and dry retention ponds accommodate onsite water retention.
Bridge Point Port 95 is designed for tenants seeking 20,000–100,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, capable of housing up to 10 tenants.
Project manager Julie Piszczek of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC served as the project manager overseeing the design and construction of Bridge Point Port 95. RLC Architects, Inc. provided architectural services, and Landplan Engineering Consultants delivered engineering services. Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Metzger, Rick Etner and Christopher Thomson represent the building.
