North Wells Capital has started work to expand an office building in Chicago’s River North.
Located at 306 W. Erie, the 45,000-sq.-ft. office building was acquired by North Wells in May 2017. Upon completion of the expansion, the facility will double its size to 93,535 sq. ft.
The project calls for integrating the existing brick and timber loft structure with a modern five-story building. The new addition will offer an outdoor terrace and amenity space.
The expansion project is designed by NORR Architects, while ARCO/Murray is the general contractor.
North Wells is the investment affiliate of Urban Innovations Ltd.
