The owners of the 44-story tower at 333 S. Wabash Ave. (formerly the CNA Tower) are conducting major “mechanical remediations” on several of the building’s floors — at a reported building permit value of $10.5 million.
The permit issued on Jan. 28 lists Executive Construction, Inc. as the general contractor for “mechanical remediation to existing office building on floors 5, 7, 17, 22, 23, 24, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 40, 41, 42, 43, & 44 as per plans (Occupancy Group B; TYPE 1A Construction).”
Key subtrades include: Electrical – Prime Electric Co., Inc. and ventilation – F.E. Moran Inc.
