The Art in Motion School at 7415 S. East End Ave. is getting a $17,171,000 expansion according to a Chicago building permit issued on Jan. 27.
The permit covers “interior and exterior alterations to an existing one-story building for expansion of an existing charter school as per plans.”
UJAMAA Construction, Inc. is the general contractor. Key subtrades include: Electrical – Titan Electric LLC, masonry contractor – CSI 3000, Inc. and R.E.A. Masonry LLC; plumber/plumbing – Caldwell Plumbing, Co., Inc.; and refrigeration and ventilation – Command Mechanical Group.
