The largest building permit issued by Chicago in the past week is for a new four story, 50 unit residential building in West Chicago, with 55 parking spaces at 33 S. Aberdeen St.
The $15 million permit has been issued to owners Steve DeGraff and Tom Meador. The building permit says the project is of “Type III-B construction” (wood frame) with residential units on the first floor (Type 1-C), and roof top decks.
The architect of record is Jay M. Keller. General contractor is Vivify Construction LLC. Other trades include: Electrical, Highlights Chicago, Inc.; masonry, D.A.R. Masonry, Inc. and McClafferty Concrete; plumbing, Tag Plumbing and Sewer, Inc.; refrigeration and ventilation: American Comfort Specialists.
