The Zion-Benton Township High School is starting construction of a new performing arts center, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The project will cost $12.5 million, which is more than the $9.2 million originally projected. Construction is expected to be complete by Dec. 1, 2019, according to the report.
The new performing arts center will replace the theater on the former Pearce Campus. The project’s construction manager is Camosy Construction.
