A 15-story office building in the West Loop may be getting a stylish modern makeover according to REJournal.com, positioning owners to take advantage of the city’s sold commercial real estate market and tech boom. The plans for 311 West Monroe, owned by GlenStar Properties, include a gut rehab of the 380,000-sq. ft. space and a new façade of energy-efficient glass panels. The entire building will be up for lease, giving new potential tenants lots of space for expansion.
