Construction progress is being made on a 22-story Illinois Medical District project at 513 S. Damen Ave.
Chicago issued a $68,500,000 building permit on Dec. 17 for the structure with 283 dwelling units and 68 parking spaces. The city earlier issued a permit for foundation level work.
Power Construction Company is the general contractor. Key subtrades include: Electrical – Bonus Electric; masonry – Mike Cachey Construction Co.; plumber/plumbing – Ewing- Doherty Mechanical, Inc.; and refrigeration and ventilation – Premier Mechanical Inc.
Brininstool + Lynch is the project’s architect.
