The apartment complex project in Orland Park Crossing at northeast of 143rd St. and LaGrange Rd. has broken ground, the developers announced on Oct. 9.
Chicago-based developers REVA Development Partners and Wanxiang America Real Estate Group will construct 231 residential units including 168 apartments. The project features four buildings each having 42 one- and two- bedroom apartments with space ranging from 700 to 1,200 sq. ft., 38 two-story rowhouses and 25 three-story townhomes providing 1,500 to 2,000 sq. ft. of area, Southtownstar.suntimes.com has reported.
The building complex will feature amenities including a 7,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, a fitness center, theater room, an outdoor swimming pool, playground and bocce ball court. The first units are expected to be available for occupancy next spring, according to a news release from the developers.
Orlando Park Crossing’s commercial development houses retailers like Ann Taylor, Chico’s, and Talbots as well as restaurants including P.F. Chang’s and Granite City Food & Brewery.
The project, which is similar in design and amenities to the village’s Ninety 7 Fifty on the Park apartment building at 143rd St. and Ravinia Ave., is a transit-oriented development targeted to commuters because of its proximity to the 143rd St. Metra station.
