The City of Chicago has granted a construction permit to Mangan Builders to develop a four-story, 24-unit apartment building in Lincoln Square.
The building, at 4646 North Damen Ave., will feature ground-floor retail space next to the CTA Brown Line tracks and Damen platform, The Real Deal reports.
As a transit-oriented development, the building will have eight parking spaces. It will rise on the site of two single-family homes, according to the publication.
The developer proposed 4,000-sq.-ft. of ground-level retail space.
