The New Life Covenant Church has been issued a $21 million building permit to construct a new church at 7621 S Greenwood.
The building permit says the church will have one story, “with three level balcony and auxiliary support spaces,” occupying 85,000 sq. ft.
Tower Contracting LLC is the general contractor. Subtrades include: Electrical – Singh Electric Co.; masonry – Synes Construction Inc.; plumbing – Michael J. Rahm DBA Prairie Plumbing; refrigeration and ventilation – Diversified General Contractor.
DNAInfo reported in 2014 that the Grand Crossing Church will also have a $4 million child care center for children five years old and younger. The original report said the church would be constructed in 2015. The church has 19,000 members.
