DataBid reports a bidding opportunity from the Arlington Heights Park District for work on the community’s Olympic Recreation Center.
The scope of work includes: “New warm water pool, locker rooms, fitness fitness center, multi-purpose room, gymnasium, suspended walking track, parking improvements and other renovations according to plans and specifications.”
Bid packages include: “Demolition, Excavation, Site Utilities, Landscaping, Paving, Concrete, PreCast Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel, & Misc. Metals, Carpentry/General Trades, Roofing & Misc. Metals, Aluminum & Glass, Flooring, Athletic Wood Flooring, Painting, Swimming Pool, Elevator, HVAC/Mechanical, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Electrical.”
Bids are open until May 22, with a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10 a.m. on May 10 at the site, Olympic Indoor Aquatic Center 660 N. Ridge Ave., Arlington Heights.
The bid documentation says that the work is a “prevailing wage” project.
