Construction Safety Week reminds contractors and workers of the importance of safe work practices

As part of Construction Safety Week, May 2-6, several Chicago-area construction companies participated in the the nationwide Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)’s Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. During a Safety Stand-Down, construction work on a job site halts to gather employees for a discussion on fall hazards, reinforcing the importance of fall prevention.
