Advocate Aurora Health proposes $39.8 million outpatient center

Advocate Aurora Health wants to build a nearly $40 million behavioral health and pediatric development center across from its Lakeview hospital.

The company has filed an application with the Illinois Health Facilities & Services Review Board for a four-story, 51,969-sq.-ft. outpatient facility at 901 W. Wellington Ave., Crains Chicago reports.

The project calls for moving Advocate’s outpatient behavioral health services and pediatric development program from 3040 N. Wilton Ave. to the new Counseling & Pediatric Development Center. The project is estimated to cost a total of $39.8 million.

The agency is set to vote on the application on Aug. 6. Construction is expected to be completed by June 2021.
