Chicago has issued an updated building permit for the new McDonald’s headquarters at 110 Carpenter as construction progresses.
The $95 million permit issued on April 18 says it is for “new construction of a nine story office building with ground floor retail and 2 levels of below-grade parking as per plans.”
Contractor McHugh Construction Co. held a community intake conference on April 6, inviting “career seeking individuals who are in search of a position in the construction industry.”
Key subtrades listed in the updated building permit include: Electrical – Meade Electric Company, Inc.; plumbing – Warren F. Thomas; refrigeration, mechanical and ventilation, AMS Mechanical Services.
