Ameresco replacing McCormick Place chiller: $45.45 million building permit

Chicago has issued $45,450,000 building permit to replace the chiller in the McCormick Place Energy Center Building.

The permit issued on Dec. 21, includes “modifications to (the) existing rooftop penthouse, proposed walls, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work as per plans.”

Ameresco Incorporated is the general contractor. Key subtrades include: Electrical – Terrance Electric and Technology; masonry – Midwest Masonry, Inc.; plumber/plumbing – The Stone Group, Inc.; and ventilation – Anchor Mechanical, Inc.
