F.H. Paschen, S.N. Nielsen, Inc. are starting work on a $15.2 million expansion to the Zapata Academy, designed by Chicago-based Architrave Ltd.
The recently-issued Chicago building permit says the 34,853 sq. ft. renovation/expansion includes an addition, sitework and renovation of the existing roof to the school at 2728 S. Kostner Ave.
Key subtrades for the project include: Electrical – Block Electric Company; masonry – DeGraf Concrete Construction, Inc.; plumber-plumbing – Drive Construction, Inc.; and refrigeration and ventilation – Blackhawk HVAC, Inc.
