Willowbrook seeks bids for $3.1 million police department renovation, addition

The Village of Willowbrook has issued a request for bids for work on a renovation/addition to its police facility, DataBid.com reports.

The project description says the work involves an “approximately 12,680 sq. ft.  renovation and 1,776 sq. ft. addition of the village owned one-story masonry building. Project includes interior demolition re-roofing electrical plumbing HVAC finishes carpentry millwork masonry ceilings and new generator.”

Bids by prequalified contractors are due Sept. 12.

The project architect is Williams Architects in Itasca.  The Chicago Tribune says the project has a $3.1 million value.
