PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has completed a build-to-suit industrial warehouse and office facility in Waukegan, IL for the Visual Pak Companies, a group of strategic entities providing turnkey solutions in the contract packaging industry.
The 197,000-sq. ft., 32’ clear height facility includes 9,500 sq. ft. of office space and 30 exterior truck docks. Office components include a mixture of open and private offices, conference rooms, breakroom, janitor’s closet, IT closet, washrooms and a vestibule. 244 parking spaces complete the facility.
“The Visual Pak Companies have been a tremendous partner on this project, and we look forward to completing other build-to-suit projects like this in the Waukegan area in the future,” says Mark Melone, vice-president, Midwest market leader of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC.
Melone, vice-president Joe Ahrens, assistant project manager Jason Spataro and project superintendents Justin Schwenn and Johnathan Nelson of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC oversaw the design and construction of the facility.
Cornerstone Architects Ltd. provided architectural services; Manhard Consulting, Ltd. provided civil engineering services; Swift Structural Design provided structural engineering services; MVP Plumbing provided plumbing services; MK Industries provided HVAC services; and Connelly Electric provided electrical services.
