The National Association of Realtors is looking to overhaul its headquarters building in Chicago.
According to a report from The Real Deal, the company will spend $45 million to expand and renovate the building at 430 North Michigan Avenue.
The project will include an 18,000-sq.-ft. glass-enclosed office and conference center atop the 12-story building, NAR CEO Bob Goldberg told Crain’s.
One Development, the design and development unit of GNP Realty Partners, will spearhead the project, which will also include new elevators and lobby, along with infrastructure upgrades.
Work on the new top floor is expected to start in the fall and be completed in a year, with floor-by-floor renovations to follow, according to the report.
