She has served as a leader by example, and in recognition of that, has been promoted from controller to senior vice-president of finance of the Istasca-based company
Carlborg oversees finances for all PREMIER offices (Illinois, New Jersey, Florida and California). She also is head of the human resources team, managing the company’s insurance and benefit plans. As one of the first two employees hired when the company opened its doors in 2004, she has been at the heart of the company’s expansion through economic upsurges and tough times alike.
Carlborg is tasked with the firm’s financial planning and budget management functions, including monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget as well as managing the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts. Notably, she looks beyond the numbers.

Carlborg orchestrates and supports a company-wide financial audit at the close of every fiscal year. And each year, she has received a highly favorable opinion from auditors as a direct result of her diligence in preparation, attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills. Auditors never have to worry about the accuracy of financial statements with Chris at the helm. She epitomizes accountability and good financial management.
