Developer Sedgwick Properties has broken ground on a 60-unit luxury apartment building in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood, expected to deliver in the spring of 2017.
The seven-story building at at 1325 N. Wells St. will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury apartment rentals, with individual units ranging from 601 to 1,400 sq. ft.
A revised $9 million building permit for the project issued on January 26 says the general contractor for the work is Alpha Construction Services, which operates from the same address as the building developer. (The original permit was issued in October 2015).
Key subcontractors include: Electrical, Mirex Electric & Construction; Plumbing, R. Carrozza Plumbing Co.: refrigeration and ventilation, TDK Air Specialist Inc.; and masonry, Illinois Masonry.
