A twin-towered residential project by Related Midwest hqwreceived formal municipal approvals and is ready to begin construction.
The towers rising 875- and 765-feet will offer 1,100 residential units, Dubbed 400 Lake Shore Drive, the project is designed by SOM. It is located where the Chicago River meets Lake Michigan, on a site that once was home to Chicago’s founder, Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable.
Both buildings will be constructed of glass and stone that includes terracotta accents, with intricate metal detailing.
