Peak Construction Corporation has been awarded the contract for Building 4 at NorthPoint Development’s 90 & Randall Logistics Park development at Interstate 90 and Randall Road in Algonquin.
The project consists of a 428,900-square-foot speculative cross-dock warehouse facility designed to support industrial and logistics tenants in the growing northwest suburban market.
The building will feature a 40-foot clear height, 44 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 104 trailer stalls and 277 parking spaces for cars. The facility is also being designed to pursue LEED certification.
Construction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Peak Construction is partnering on the project with architect studioNorth and civil engineer Atwell.
Founded in 2012, NorthPoint Development is a privately held real estate company specializing in the development, acquisition, leasing and management of Class A industrial, data centre and multi-family properties across the United States.
According to the company, NorthPoint has owned and managed more than 160 million square feet of industrial space. The developer estimates its projects have created more than 111,000 jobs and supported more than 440 industrial clients nationwide.
NorthPoint says it uses a data-driven approach to site acquisition and development, supported by in-house expertise in engineering, architecture and construction.
