Northwestern Medicine has submitted plans to build a $275 million cancer care center at their Orland Park campus.
The proposed four-story, 315,000-sq. ft. structure will expand world-class oncology services in the community
“Welcoming this state-of-the-art cancer center means world-class care right here in Orland Park, creating local jobs, and ensuring our residents have access to premier medical services when they need them most,” Mayor Jim Dodge said in a statement. “Our new proactive, open-for-business leadership is delivering real results for our community.
“We are committed to fostering an environment where top-tier organizations like Northwestern Medicine want to grow, invest and create jobs in Orland Park.”
This proposal will be presented at upcoming Village meetings:
- Plan Commission: Tues., Aug. 4
- Committee of the Whole and Board of Trustees: Mon., Aug. 17
