Scholarship applications have opened from The Builders Foundation for students studying construction engineering or construction management.
The foundation says so far 62 students have been helped with more than $220,000 in funds.
To qualify, applicants must be majoring in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and must be a sophomore or junior at the time of application, after attending a Chicago-area high school, and attending one of a list of qualified institutions.
Applications close on Oct. 31.
