Eleven construction trade associations and three trade unions coordinated a special program on Oct. 26 to solve the challenges in finding, developing and retaining quality candidates for career persons.
Speaker Mark Breslin explained the challenges and “best practices for the industry.”
Jean Meyers, executive director for three Chicago area trade associations including the Midwest Wall and Ceiling Contractors, said that Breslin is a nationally recognized speaker in the construction industry and has presented his strategies to over 300,000 people. Meyers said before the event that between 250 and 300 people would attend the program.
