Woodfield Mall is planning a major renovation of the 44-year-old landmark shopping center in 2015.
A plan was submitted by the mall officials to the village of Schaumburg for their anticipated renovation of Schaumburg’s landmark shopping center, reports The Daily Herald.
The project is estimated to cost $13.9 million. Much of the work involves the first level of the mall, according to Schaumburg community development director Julie Fitzgerald.
She added that the extensive renovation of the nearly 44-year-old shopping center’s common areas will include upgrades to the seating areas scattered throughout.
