A new expo promises that it will host one of the largest-ever meetings of women in construction.
Chicago Build has partnered with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to host the event. The upcoming show also promised to feature a diversity in construction networking event in association with the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) and the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois.
The inclusive events are being offered in addition to more traditional trade show conference tracks and presentations, as well as AIA/CES-approved workshops and free-to-attend networking functions. Topics covered will include the future of construction, architecture, real estate, BIM and other related technologies, building materials and sustainability.
Taking place Sept. 19-20 at McCormick Place, Chicago Build expects to feature 200 exhibitors and attract 10,000 attendees.
