The Midwest’s largest construction and design show is set to open its doors next week at McCormick Place, bringing together thousands of industry leaders and innovators. Chicago Build kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and runs through Thursday, Oct. 30, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. both days.

The event promises to be a hub for architects, engineers, contractors, designers, and suppliers, offering cutting-edge technology and game-changing insights. The show floor will feature top exhibitors showcasing the latest products and innovations. More than 400 speakers will present across 13 conference tracks and AIA CES workshops.

Beyond the traditional trade show format, organizers have planned a “Festival of Construction” that includes live music, DJs, competitions, and entertainment.

Unmatched networking opportunities

A major focus of the two-day event is networking, with a packed schedule of specialized events. Highlights include two of the Midwest’s largest networking events: one for Diversity in Construction on Wednesday and another for Women in Construction on Thursday.

Other notable meetups include sessions for contractors, developers, and architects; sustainability leaders; real estate and facilities management professionals; and digital construction innovators.
