Chicago has issued an intriguing $91 million building permit for a “light industrial and manufacturing facility” at 2124 W. Lake St.
The owner, Pepercorn 2124, LLC, is associated with Pepercorn Capital Ltd.’s Philip Denny. Peppercorn Capital says on its website that it is “uniquely focused on Chicago’s West Loop.”
The permit (currently for the foundation only) says the project will have two floors and a mezzanine above the fist floor, and “on-site parking will be perpendicular spots off the alley.”
The architect is JGMA vice-president Jason Nuttleman and the project’s general contractor is Norcon.
Key subtrades include Masonry – Tor Construction Company Inc. and plumber – Norman Mechanical.
