The City of Champaign has launched a comprehensive assessment of the development review, permitting, and inspection processes. Matrix Consultants has been hired to evaluate current processes and compile suggestions and feedback from the development community concerning current services.
Stakeholders can attend a focus group this week to provide feedback concerning their past experiences engaging with the city for various permitting and inspection services. The city is also seeking feedback from any individual who is new to the development review, permitting and inspection operations, in order to capture their unique questions and observations.
Sessions are being held Oct. 11-12 at the Champaign Public Library (Busey Bank Conference Room 222, 200 W. Green St., Champaign) as follows:
Experienced stakeholders focus group – Oct. 11 at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, and Oct. 12 at 11:00 am (pick one). Pre-register at bit.ly/DeveloperFocusGroup.
