Chicago has issued a $40.3 million building permit for a Sterling Bay 12-story office building at 210 N. Carpenter in the heart of Fulton Market.
The project, designed by SCB, had originally been proposed to be 13 stories, but was reduced in size after neighbours objected. It had originally been a vacant lot.
The permit says the building will not have a basement, but will have ground floor retail and second floor parking (44 spaces for cars and 88 for bikes).
Leopardo Companies Inc. is the general contractor. Subtrades include: Masonry – Adjustable Forms Inc.; and plumbing – Carrozza Plumbing Co.
